Chip Sealing on RT 133 to begin April 7th

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that a pavement preservation project on Route 133 will begin on April 7, 2024. Asphalt rubber chip sealing will occur on Route 133 from the Intersection with Northrup Street to the Intersection with Route 67.
This project aims to improve the existing wearing surface and extend the life of the pavement through the use of the asphalt rubberized chip seal.
LANE CLOSURE INFO
A minimum of 1 lane of traffic in each direction on a paved travel path not less than 11 feet in width shall be maintained at all times.
Allowable alternating one-way traffic on as noted below:
- Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Saturday and Sunday 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.
