CALLING ALL VETERANS

The Town of Bridgewater is finalizing the list of veterans’ names for the Veterans Memorial Park Monuments.

The Town, along with the Veterans Memorial Commission, has been working for months putting this list together. It is important that we ensure the spelling, service branch and veteran’s period of service are correct before we etch the plaques.

There are more than 600 names on the list, and, before publication, we need to get confirmation of the accuracy.

You can find the Veterans Listing HERE. You can also get help to find the listing at the Town Hall, or a computer at the Library, or Senior Center. People will be there to help you.

The list will be correctable through November 30th, 2022 at the Town Hall. Any errors after that date will be addressed on an annual review basis.

Any corrections should be brought to the First Selectman’s Assistant (860-354-2731) at Town Hall with appropriate DD214 or equivalent. Call Joe Buchheit, 860-355-2433, if you have a question on the process.

The First Selectmen are looking at a date in the near future to have a Town Hall meeting to discuss this project in full.
