About

The Bridgewater Volunteer Fire Department provides fire, rescue, and EMS services to the town of Bridgewater, Connecticut. The BFD serves the Town of Bridgewater with two fire engines, two tankers, one brush fire unit, one rescue boat, and one BLS ambulance. We hope to update our friends and supporters about department events and interesting calls through Facebook and on X, @BridgewaterFire.

Description

The department is funded by generous donations and the Bridgewater Fair. The Town of Bridgewater also supports the department with providing the town's paramedic service, 911 service, and our workman's comp.

General Information

The fire department is staffed by volunteer firefighters and EMT's. We are in the building Thursday nights at 7:00pm for training and apparatus maintenance.
